Our Leadership Team

Cindy commenced working with NT Friendship & Support in January 2021, with prior experience in Government organisations supporting services to Indigenous Australians, Education, Youth, Business, and Industry. After starting her career in Private Industry, Cindy found her passion for social issues - equity, community development, youth, education, and vibrant regional communities, so took the leap into a career that focused on these. Cindy has contributed to the community through board representation for community groups including Schools, the Arts and Sports.

As a resident of Katherine for over 15 years, Cindy now calls the Territory home, loving the relaxed lifestyle and close-knit sense of community. Cindy has travelled extensively through the Top End and is still in awe of our rich history, culture, and the natural beauty of our landscape.

Before coming to NT Friendship & Support, Cindy was a Senior Adviser for the National Indigenous Australians Agency and a Senior Adviser for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet prior to that.

Lucy commenced working with NT Friendship & Support in 2017, and before her appointment, had worked extensively with people with a disability, marginalised groups and at-risk young people.

She has demonstrated experience in leadership roles across a number of non-government organisations.

While Lucy originally fairs from Central Victoria, she now calls the Territory home.

Prior to her commencement at NT Friendship & Support, Lucy worked as the Youth and Community Services Manager for YMCA Katherine (now YMCA of the Northern Territory), and prior to that headed up YMCA Victoria’s Community Development Unit as Director.

Lucy is passionate about social inclusion, human rights and restorative justice; and brings this passion into her day-to-day role, and when leading teams.
