What is Short Term Accommodation (STA) or Respite?

Short Term Accommodation services support you and your individual goals and can assist you to have a break from your daily routine.

Short Term Accommodation can be accessed for a planned break or rest as well as emergency accommodation

The house is equipped with specialised aids and equipment to support the needs of the individual

What is Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)?

Medium Term Accommodation (or MTA) is a relatively new support funded by the NDIS that allows you to access accommodation for up to 90 days. If you are transitioning houses or simply need a longer stay than short-term, this may be the right option for you.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

SIL provides ongoing supports to help you maximise your independence and do things you love. Usually, this is in either your own house or an organisations house. The 'SIL' component is just the supports though, not the house. SIL might be the right choice for you if you have higher support needs and are looking for a long term placement.
