We also operate an additional residence within NT Friendship & Support that provides Short-Term Accommodation (STA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL). Originally designed for respite, this home now offers a full range of person centred accommodation and support options tailored to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

What is Short Term Accommodation (STA) or Respite?

Short Term Accommodation services support you and your individual goals and can assist you to have a break from your daily routine.
Short Term Accommodation can be accessed for a planned break or rest as well as emergency accommodation
The house is equipped with specialised aids and equipment to support the needs of the individual

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?​
SIL provides ongoing supports to help you maximise your independence and do things you love. Usually, this is in either your own house or an organisations house. The 'SIL' component is just the supports though, not the house. SIL might be the right choice for you if you have higher support needs and are looking for a long term placement. ​
