Congratulations and well done to all involved with the Big Rivers Creative Industry Summit and Twilight Makers Market + Solar Cinema, organised by Circulation and held at Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th May.
The Summit bought together a myriad of creative practitioners, entrepreneurs, youth, and industry organisations, to explore the future of the creative industries in the Big Rivers Region, Northern Territory. The one-day summit focused on the intersection between art, culture, technology and entrepreneurship, and how they connect and collide to create social, cultural, and economic value.
We are thrilled by the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the creative industries in the Big Rivers Region; we also welcome the chance to highlight and celebrate the contributions of people with disability.
A special shout out to our EqualiTEA team for your contributions to the creative industry, and for taking part in the Youth Movement Makers Panel: Fire Side Chat, a huge congratulations on releasing your new Bottles of Lights Hanging Stars collection during the Summit and for highlighting and celebrating the contributions of people with disability, we are super proud of your work and involvement with the event; keep kicking goals!
Thank you, as always, to the Katherine community for your ongoing support – it means the world to us!
